• CARES was a proud sponsor of the 4H Dog Club at the Sumter County Fair that was held in March 2008.
• Kyle Lukat, age 12, and in the 6th grade at Lincoln Park Academy, Ft. Pierce, Florida, recently completed a project of community service. Students were prompted to select a project that benefited the community and the environment. Kyle chose to help the animals by donating 9 cage beds that he had made to the CARES Center. These are being used post surgery for the comfort of our cat patients. Thank you, Kyle.
